TDKR and Looper news

First big news today is that Joe has now officially been cast in The Dark Knight Rises. According to Entertainment Weekly, he’ll be playing John Blake

Gordon-Levitt will play John Blake, described as “a Gotham City beat cop assigned to special duty under the command of Commissioner Gordon [played by Gary Oldman].”

In other news, a Looper press conference was held in Shanghai two days ago. You can see a video of that here (Joe comes in at about 21:20) and see some images in the gallery.

Hesher stuff

The Dark Knight Rises and gallery

So Joe is now officially confirmed for The Dark Knight Rises according to Variety. No word yet on which part he’ll play though. In other news, Joe is giving aid to Japan via HitRECord and you can help by purchasing REC buttons.
And finally, I have some gallery updates for you. Firstly, thanks to Barbara for pointing out some additions to a photoshoot set (set 70) I didn’t have before. I also added two other photoshoots (one from last year, one from SNL promos) and three candids. So check them all out in the gallery.

The Dark Knight Rises?

So Joe’s gonna be in it anyway?

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is in talks to reunite with his Inception director Christopher Nolan in The Dark Knight Rises for Warner Bros. I’m not sure what role he’ll play, but I’m told that he will be in the movie when Nolan starts production this spring.
